Terry Lubbock father of Stuart Lubbock who was found dead in Michael Barrymore’s swimming pool will be pressing ahead with legal action against the star despite rumours that the case had been dropped.
Terry met with the Celebrity Big Brother contestant earlier this week and said that he no longer blamed Michael Barrymore for the death of his son. The pair also agreed to work together in getting the case reviewed by the police.
However today Terry confirmed that “I’m still pursuing the case and shall talk with my solicitor about what’s next.
“I was happy meeting Barrymore and feel I have his support to campaign for justice over what happened to my son. He’s promised to help me, so I’ll take him up on that.”

‘GMTV’ weather presenter Andrea McLean was voted out of ‘Dancing On Ice’ at the weekend, after failing to impress the judges.
The results of the public vote saw Andrea forced to compete in a skate-off with actor Stefan Booth, who also competed in the skate-off last week.
Speaking after the judges chose Stefan over her, Andrea said: “What an amazing experience. All I can say is if I was going to go I’m glad it was tonight.”
“I think I have skated the best I have done. I really felt the music tonight. It’s a shame, I would have liked to have carried on but what a way to go.”

Have you ever wondered what instruments teen hunk and winner of Soapstar Superstar Richard Fleeshman can play, or what song he would have liked to sing in the competition but didn’t?
If so then check out this interview with Richard revealing all this and more! No talk of Foxy Roxy (Roxanne Pallett) though….what a shame!

Pete Burns has expressed his disgust at the imminent re-release of his hit single ‘You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)’. He told Big Brother’s Davina McCall: “I’m sick of that song. It’s like still wearing school uniform when you’re 50.”
The track which was penned by Stock Aiken and Waterman (also responsible for Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan!) was a number one hit for Pete Burns and his band Dead Or Alive in 1985, it was re-released in 2003 but only reached number 23 in the charts. Lets hope it does a bit better this time, I’m sure Pete could do with topping up the pension fund!

Chantelle Houghton the non-celebrity winner of this years Celebrity Big Brother is certainly not as thick as she looks!
She may seem obsessed with her waist length blonde hair, fallen in love with fellow contestant Preston in just three weeks and have been inspired by Caprice to apply as a contestant, but recent reports would suggest that Chantelle has more sense than we have given her credit for!
She is said to be considering releasing a single with her fake band Kandi-Floss (wiv a K!) who she performed with in the Celebrity Big Brother awards show at the weekend. This alone would earn her thousands of pounds. Team that up with all the modelling shoots, magazine spreads and TV interviews and it is rumoured that Essex girl Chantelle Houghton could be worth £1,000,000 by the end of the year!

We reported a month or so ago that Chico Slimani had been offered a record deal by BMG boss Simon Cowell and today Chico travelled to the BMG offices to sign on the dotted line.
The Ex Stripper’s debut single ‘It’s Chico Time’ will be released on the 27th of February, coinciding nicely with the X Factor tour!

What better way to promote your band’s latest single than to hole up in a house for three weeks with your new-found sexy blonde soul-mate, a couple of transvestites and the most evil politician of our times? (Actually I liked Galloway until the bullying incident, but the shine’s worn off now).
While Preston was locked up, his mates were busy on the outside, re-releasing Boys Will Be Boys. It’s been on all the music channels today and it started off being irritating, but now I can’t get it out of my head. I’ve tried drilling it out and everyfing! Having said that, the rap bit in the middle is so 90’s - would have been better if they’d got Mike Skinner to do a spot.
Well done to the lads anyway. Preston’s going to need to keep busy in the weeks ahead, and he seems to be a bit confused over the state of his romantic life at the moment. Apparently the bookies have stopped taking bets on the two getting engaged by the end of the year. What a mess!

Michael Barrymore has been pipped at the post on his comeback thanks to non-celebrity Chantelle Houghton. Amazing, yet we all saw it coming, didn’t we?
Hard to believe that Chantelle could have been evicted two days after the show started, but was saved by Preston who thought he was the least famous person in the house.
Michael Barrymore Takes 2nd Place
Although he was emotional on leaving the house, Barrymore was much more in control than during his entrance! He denied playing to the cameras - as George suggested, and admitted that his time in the house was great therapy.
I’ve been in therapy eight times, but that was the best therapy I’ve ever had! You should consider charging.
Congratulations to Barrymore for being the celebrity runner-up. I’ll be watching to see what happens next in his career. Hopefully he won’t be releasing a single like most of the others…
Chantelle Takes The Crown
“She walked into the Big Brother house a complete unknown, but she’s coming out the star of the show.” So said Davina as the ecstatic Chantelle bounced down the Big Brother catwalk. Apparently she took 56% of the vote, winning by a complete landslide!!!
There could not have been a better winner for the show. No ego, no agenda and sometimes no clue, Chantelle was just pure fun! I’m sure the situation with Preston isn’t over yet - BB played the clip of Preston saying “If I didn’t have a girlfriend, I’d marry you” a little too much. There may still be a showdown!
Ah well, that’s it for this year. Consider it just a warm-up for Big Brother 7 in the summer!
January 27th, 2006 by Gerard McGarry. Tags: Celebrity Big Brother, Maggot
The unassuming Maggot managed to make it to third place. A natural diplomat, Maggot managed to straddle both cliques in the Celebrity Big Brother house. Ah hell…who cares?
Even at the end Maggot wouldn’t say who his favourite or his least favourite housemate was, nor would he say who he wanted to win.
Dammit.
January 27th, 2006 by Gerard McGarry. Tags: Celebrity Big Brother, Chantelle Houghton, ordinary boys, preston
Ordinary Boy Preston leaves the Big Brother house in 4th place. My first thought was “will the girlfriend be there?”
Tabby says if she was the girlfriend, she’d be waiting at the studio with a pair of sharp scissors. Ouch. I can see the appeal of Chantelle, but if you’re a bloke going into the Big Brother house, it’s best to enter as a free man…
So, during the Davina interview, Preston got a serious grilling about his relationship with Chantelle. Then we saw the girlfriend in the audience. Didn’t look amused, did she? Hope security took any sharp objects off her….
Anyway, looks like Preston and Pete will be going head to head in the charts soon, as Boys Will Be Boys has just been re-released….and maybe Kandi-Floss too if Tabby is to be believed!
January 27th, 2006 by Gerard McGarry. Tags: Celebrity Big Brother, Pete Burns
Leaving the Big Brother house in a hail of boos, ol’ rubber face Pete Burns (whose last significant job was in the 80’s fronting one-hit wonders Dead Or Alive) has finished in 5th place.
It was almost impossible to hear the interview over the mob chanting “Off, off, off”.
I’m so glad to see that guy out of the house, if only to get “Dude Looks Like A Lady” out of my head! That expressionless face, those evil piercing eyes, the weirdo lips.
The lips. Ha! That dude could fall on his face and he’d bounce straight back up! What a nasty, nasty, nasty piece of work….
Take comfort, people, in the news that they’re releasing “You Spin Me Right Round” again. Expect to see Pete in (yet another) Channel 4 80’s retrospective coming to your screen.
January 27th, 2006 by Gerard McGarry. Tags: Celebrity Big Brother, Traci Bingham
Former Baywatcher Traci Bingham has been (did I say “has-been”?) evicted from Celebrity Big Brother in sixth place. I didn’t even know she was in the show!!!
Seriously though, the ’stay-quiet’ strategy doesn’t win reality TV shows these days. Yeah, it might protect you for a while, but in Traci’s case she was so under the radar she could’ve left days ago and none of us would have noticed.
Ah well. Stay with us this evening as we blog the Celebrity Big Brother final - live!!!
January 27th, 2006 by Lisa McGarry. Tags: Celebrity Big Brother, Chantelle Houghton, Maggot, Michael Barrymore, Pete Burns, preston, Samuel Preston, Traci Bingham
Well tonight is the final night for Celebrity Big brother.
With 6 contestants left and non-celebrity Chantelle standing as the bookies favourtie to win it should prove an interesting night.
I am hoping against all hopes that Pete Burns is the next housemate to leave and that each and every member of the audience boos him as he does his walk to the studio. I also hope that the police are there to arrest Pete upon his eviction for owning and importing his monkey (formerely thought to be Gorilla) coat. There are many other awful things i wish upon this man but I won’t bore you with them now!
Anyway I’ll be avidly watching the show tonight as I guess will most of you, so join us back here after the show for a bit of discussion and air your views about who left. who won and what you thought of the show!
January 27th, 2006 by Lisa McGarry. Tags: Richard Fleeshman, Roxanne Pallett, Soapstar Superstar
Soapstar Superstar contestant Roxanne Pallett was left embarrassed after backing a tourist board’s romantic breaks campaign.
According to the Sun, the Emmerdale actress, 22, spoke about and promoted holidays in the Lake District after she spent some quality time there with her boyfriend James Yallop, 23.
However, Pallett has now split from Yallop and their Valentine’s Day Promotions Campaign has been left to rot…oh dear!
Pallett is now rumoured to be dating the fellow contestant on SoapStar Superstar, Coronation Street’s Richard Fleeshman, 16…much to his young fans disgust!
