X Factor Interview With Warren Kelly

Warren Kelly certainly made an impression on the X Factor audience this week. He was the high kicking performer who ended his routine by doing very painful looking full splits!

Warren was interviewed by the X Factor team, and here’s what he said:

What was your reaction to Simon’s comments…?

I wouldn’t get any work were I really as rubbish as Simon told me I was. Sharon said she loved me and gave me a ‘Yes’. She told me I reminded her of Chico…! I guess I’m just more of a stage performer. I sing and dance. I just wasn’t what Simon was looking for.

What is next for you…?

I’m in panto this year and am preparing for that. It’s Jack and The Beanstalk in a theatre near Warrington. Panto is my background. I’ve been doing it since I was 4. I’m always the one dancing behind the stars…!

Have you been in panto with many celebrities…?
We get lots of celebrities in panto but my favourite was Julie Goodyear from Coronation St. She was great. I loved performing with her.

How did you react when Tony (The X Factor bouncer) ‘helped’ you out of the audition room…?

I was a bit scared but I wasn’t going to run out of the room. I wanted to hold my head high and ride off. But I was a bit worried that he was going to bang into my legs and they’re my livliehood…! I should get them insured.

Would you audition next year…?

Yes, because Sharon was really nice but Simon would have to go. I’d audition were it Sharon and Pete Waterman. He’d love me…!

Assuming the singing doesn’t take off, is there any other career you’d want…?
I’d love to be a TV presenter. I’m quite quick at come-backs and I love talking to people. I’d be great. Definitely.

Bianca Gascoigne and Callum Best Win Love Island 2006

It was a surprise result! If I had put money on the result (and I’m glad I didn’t) I would have picked Kelle Bryan as the winning female on this years Love Island.

Any fool could have guessed that Callum Best would win, he is handsome and chivalrous. Callum Best could melt the heart of even the frostiest female! He certainly melted mine when he dirty danced with Kelle.

But Bianca Gascoigne? She is a nice girl and I think the result will do wonders for her self confidence, but I just didn’t expect her to win.

Brendan Cole looked gutted with the result, he was easily the most competitive man on the island, and the one person who really really wanted to win. Not only did he not win, but he didn’t even get a girl!

Better luck next year Brendy!

Kate Lawler Misses Out On Love Island Final

Kate Lawler just became the last female to leave Love Island before the final vote.

Kate entered the Love Island resort only two weeks ago, and has made us laugh ever since. There is no doubt that she livened the place up, after Lee Otway left I worried that without his temper things would be dull. But Lawler entered and entertained us solidly each and every day.

Kates departure means that the final two couples on Love Island are Kelle Bryan, Bianca Gascoigne, Brendan Cole and Callum Best.

Who will win? Check back later to find out!

Robbie Williams Thinks Reality TV Is Just Too Cruel

Robbie Williams has slammed this years reality TV shows for being much too cruel, and for preying on those with depression and mental health problems.

Robbie admitted to being an avid reality TV fan: “I’ll watch any old s***, but I refused to watch Big Brother this year because it’s like looking at mental patients.

“Same with Love Island - it’s human beings having nervous breakdowns in front of the whole nation. Some things should be kept at home.

“If you had put me in Love Island after I’d just left Take That, then I would have been f**ked - I’d be crying all the time too.

Maybe now show producers will sit up and take notice….then again, maybe not!

Marianne Murphy Makes It Through X Factor Audition

Abba tribute singer Marianne Murphy made it through to X Factor boot camp after making judge Louis Walsh laugh at her version of ‘Over The Rainbow’

Marianne said: “I had planned to sing Show Me Heaven by Maria McKee but the girl before me sang it.

“I had to make a last-minute switch and sang Somewhere Over The Rainbow. As if it wasn’t nerve-wracking enough.

“It was very intimidating but Louis was laughing the whole way through my song. He told me later it was because he didn’t think I was going to be any good. I suppose that was a compliment!

“Simon told me my vocals were effortless and he, Louis and Sharon Osbourne all said ‘yes’ to me going through.

“Sharon was lovely - she really likes to look after people.

“I was so nervous I barely spoke, although when I ran outside I was so excited I gave presenter Kate Thornton the shock of her life when I lifted her right off her feet.

“I was jumping about like an idiot but it was a fantastic feeling.”

Marianne added:
“It was very emotional, and viewers will probably see me crying a lot.

“It just means so much to me. I am a bit older than many of the other contestants and I have a wee girl.

“I know just what a chance this is and don’t take any of it for granted.

“I have been singing since I was a teenager and I’ve been in T-Junction for the last few years. We do wedding sand her for a while. But she watches the show and corporate events and if I go a week without a gig I feel frustrated. I love singing so much.

“I am a single mum and it can be difficult juggling everything - but I have a great support network behind me.

“My family have always encouraged me to have a go at things. But this is my one shot at making it.

“I had to explain to Lucy what I was doing, and if I did well I might have to be away from her for a while. But she watches the show and is really excited that I am a part of it.”

Viewers will find out in November whether or not Marianne has made it through to the final 12 on X Factor 2006.

Celebrity Big Brother Will Be Extended To Four Weeks

This years Celebrity Big Brother will be extended from three weeks to four, it has recently been announced.

The show which last year saw non-celebrity Chantelle Houghton Walk away the winner, normally runs for 21 days each January, but this year we will be treated to a months worth of weird celebrities gracing our screen each evening!

An insider said: “Those who thought the Big Brother bubble had burst have been proved wrong.

“As a result, we are going to add an extra week to Celebrity BB.”

She added: “It only started as a novelty sideshow to the summer’s main event, but George Galloway and Michael Barrymore just set it alight last winter.

“Everyone reckoned it was a shame time was up after three weeks.

“It would have sizzled for longer and so it was the logical thing to do to add an extra week.”

Love Island 2006: Chris Brosnan Leaves Love Island

Last night Chris Brosnan, son of Pierce Brosnan of 007 fame, was the last person to be evicted from Love Island before the final day.

Once again, ex-Eternal singer, Kelle Bryan found herself in the bottom two, but true to form found herself rescued by the public at the last minute.

Chris then left the resort, and in an interview after his departure, he revealed that he is backing Bendan Cole to win.

He stated:

“Brendan and Kelle I think are going to win, and I would love for them to win,.

“Kelle, just because she’s gone through the seven weeks and she’s really stuck to her morals, her beliefs, and stayed true to herself.

“She’s been a person that people can go to, talk to, get advice from. She’s like an all-rounder.

“Kelle is stunning and I do get these moments when I look at her, and think, ‘That is one beautiful girl and she is going to make some lucky man a happy husband one day,’ Chris added.

On Brendan he said:

“Brendan is very vocal, opinionated, he’s competitive, but he’s got this incredible heart,

“He’s pure of heart and I loved sitting and talking to him about his life. Where he thinks he’s going, where he’s been, where he’s at.

“I really grew very very fond of Brendan, he’s a great guy.

Who do you think will win tonight?

Trevor Hodgson Makes His X Factor Comeback

Trevor Hodgson, the 16 year old who made it right through last years X Factor bootcamp, and just narrowly missed being part of the final 12, makes a comeback to our screens tonight in the X Factor auditions.

The Mirror reports

Viewers of ITV2’s Xtra Factor will tonight see Simon brand Trevor, 18, “a bitter 17-year-old” because he has “picked up bad singing habits”. But Louis and Sharon overrule him, insisting: “He needs another chance.”

I hope wee Trevor does well, he was such a cutie last year!

Paris Graham- Jones Cons Her Way Through The X Factor

Paris Graham- Jones can be seen on tonights X Factor show wowing the three X Factor judges with her operatic song Time To Say Goodbye.

After being praised by all three judges and being put through to the next round she admitted, “Erm, I can’t go through - I’m only 14.”

Simon Cowell commented: “Well, you did very well. We would have put you through to the next round.”

Paris said: “I feel quite pleased with all three judges saying yes. I thought it went ok, I didn’t think I could have sang any better. If I was 16, I would have gone through.”

She went on: “When I went in all I was thinking about was telling them. My parents wanted me to tell the truth and I didn’t want to take anybody’s place on the show.

“Most people say I look quite young for my age so I was quite happy that I passed for 16.”

Paris, who also plays the violin and piano, added: “Sharon is lovely and so is Louis. Simon was ok - he’s not really that bad. But Sharon was more sympathetic.”

Paris intends to reaudition in 2 years time when she reaches 16.

X Factor: Simon Cowell Tells Kylie That She Lacks Sex Appeal

X Factor hopeful 17 year old Kylie tonight has her dreams shattered by TV’s Mr Nasty, Simon Cowell.

On tonight’s X Factor show, she claims: “I am Kylie but you can call me K Star. K is for Kylie and Star, because I am a star.

“This isn’t a dream, it’s a reality. I will be having a number one single and a massive-selling album”.

Simon Cowell is quick to tell her: “The truth - you’ll never make a career in music. It’s hard when you’re good but it is impossible when you are just OK”.

But Kylie and her entourage don’t give up that easily, with the whole family confronting Simon.

However, after getting an ear-bashing from a hopeful’s mum-in-law last week, Mr Nasty lashes out.

He says: “You are giving your daughter false hope. You have led her down the wrong path. She will never be a pop star”.

Street Warden Clifford Farrell Is Hoping To Go Far In The X Factor!

Camden Street Warden Clifford Farrell can be caught on tonights X factor show trying to impress the judges with his reggae style!

He said: “I was a singer back home - I am from Montserrat, a small island where I was a firefighter - and I used to do concerts there and I sang in the church choir.

“I sing all the time: in my home, in the car, when I am working I always burst into singing.

“And people are always running over and saying ’sing for us’.

“Everyone was telling me I had a brilliant voice and told me I ought to go for it.

“I love all sorts of music - pop, soul and reggae, everyone is really behind me.”

Mr Farrell continued: “When I first saw all those thousands of people I thought I had no chance.

“I haven’t been selected yet but the next audition is on Saturday. I am in the older group but everyone thinks I am in my 30s.

“I wasn’t scared of the judges; they haven’t got two heads on their bodies so why should I be afraid? I think they liked that I am not nervous of anything. I wasn’t trying to be anything else. I am just myself.

“They said they all wanted me in their group, even Simon.”

Mr Farrell is now focusing on reggae to get him over the last hurdle and is hoping his toned physique will also sway the judges.

He said: “Sharon was impressed by my muscles and so was Paula Abdul.

“I wanted to sing reggae in the beginning but I didn’t know if they would like it.

“For the last audition I sang reggae though and Simon said I should stay with that because they hadn’t had a reggae singer through before.”

Watch tonights show to see how Clifford fares!

Louis Walsh Had An X Factor Stalker

Louis Walsh has admitted that he was being stalked by an X Factor reject, who failed to make it past his first audition.

The man followed Louis to his £1.5 million home in North London and jumped out of bushes yelling at him.

Louis told The Star: “It was really scary and it shook me up.

“This guy got rejected at auditions and took it really badly. Everything is sorted out now.

It’s claimed that the man may have been stalking Louis for around a month and was spotted loitering outside Louis’ home by friends.

Ant And Dec Led Claire Budd To The X Factor

X Factor hopeful Claire Budd has told local newspapers that her TV idols Ant and Dec appeared to her in a dream and told her to audition for this years series of the X Factor.

The Manchester Evening News reported

Claire, 28, who describes herself as the duo’s number one fan, told the judges she dreamt she was in a café with the pair and sang for them, prompting Ant to tell her to audition. “He said I had an amazing voice and told me I should go for the X Factor.”

After finishing her performance in front of a visibly startled panel, she was told frankly by Simon Cowell: “I presume you didn’t sing like that in the dream.” And despite a yes vote from Louis, Claire failed to make it through to the next round.

Fame

But her minutes of fame did not end with that rejection.

Once outside the audition room, she was pounced on by presenter Ben Shephard, who grilled her further on her “addiction” to the north east TV darlings and labelled her an Ant and Dec “purist”. Now back in her day job at Connexions in Ashton under Lyne, Claire, a regular on the Littleborough karaoke scene, says she is hoping to break into the music industry and is close to clinching a deal with Challenge TV.

She is also on a musical mission to return next year and try her luck again. “I’m planning on taking singing lessons and I’ll definitely be back,” she said.

Claire added that the pair were often on her mind and it was not strange to be thinking about them in her sleep.

“It didn’t surprise me to have the dream really. I have been a fan for years - it’s just their comic timing which I think is spot on. They provide me with the energy and motivation I need in my life.”

After Clayton’s Shayne Ward was a winner last year, the region is again having a big impact on the talent hunt.

Today’s episode comes after last week’s show featured 86-year-old grandmother Edna Moore, from Oldham, telling Simon Cowell off for being “ignorant” when he criticised her daughter-in-law’s performance.

Claire’s audition can be seen in full tonight on The Xtra Factor, ITV2, 7.50pm

Sophie Anderton Leaves Love Island 2006

Last night was eviction night on Love Island and the two girls with the lowest amounts of votes were Kelle Bryan and Sophie Anderton.

Once I heard that result I was convinced that Kelle would be leaving, I was so surprised (pleasantly though) when Sophie was booted out.

Kelle adds a lot of positivity to the group, and is a great role model. Its not very often people like Kelle are allowed to shine on national TV.

However the world can surely do without Diva Anderton. I for one am glad to see her go. I just wish she would go and fade into obscurity now and leave us all alone!
