David Hasselhoff says he didn’t really want to be a judge on America’s Got Talent — but he was “conned” into doing it by the show’s executive producer Simon Cowell.
Hasselhoff told Newsweek magazine: “This is not my cup of tea. I signed on for one season, and Simon Cowell conned me into it: ‘Here’s a lot of money,’ and ‘it’s like The Gong Show.’”
So, it seems Hasselhoff won’t be coming back for the show’s second season, which begins in January. “I’m trying to get on a sitcom or maybe even my own show, Travels With the Hoff,” he told Newsweek.

The boy band Avenue has been ejected from Britain`s popular ‘X-Factor’ TV talent competition for concealing they had a management deal.
‘It was a hard decision,’ judge Louis Walsh was quoted as saying by The Mirror Tuesday. ‘The boys are talented but they broke the rules. They had to go.’
British music mogul Ashley Tabor reportedly put the four singers together and told them not to tell ‘X Factor’ officials about his involvement with the group, the newspaper said.
‘They misled us,’ judge Simon Cowell said. It wouldn`t have been fair to allow them to deprive another act of a slot in the finals.’

Bianca Gascoigne, who was crowned the queen of this summer’s series of the reality TV show, was terrified about going on the programme because she thought she would become a public hate figure.
She explained: “I was sh***ing myself before I went on it in case people hated me or it was edited badly.
“I was worried about people assuming that I would be stuck up because I had a famous dad.”
Bianca, the stepdaughter of football legend Paul Gascoigne, has also revealed she is planning on launching a singing career.
She explained: “I’d love to be a singer. I’ve had producers approaching me but I don’t feel like I’m ready.
“I need to find my own voice and be completely happy with my style first.”
Despite her singing ambitions, Bianca hasn’t quite made up her mind about what direction she wants her career to go in.
She added: “TV presenting also appeals - so watch this space!”

Nikki Grahame Still Pines For Pete.
Despite claims Pete has broken her heart, Nikki has confessed she still loves him. No matter how he has hurt her, she can’t switch her feelings off. Nikki was dumped by Pete publicly when he confessed to a magazine why he was sick of her. Nikki can’t understand how he can have such compassion for an insect or an animal and yet tear her apart, disregarding her feelings. She had this to say, “He’s made me feel like a piece of s**t. What upset me most is that he couldn’t tell me how he felt when we were together or what I was doing wrong. Instead, he told a magazine why he dumped me. He’s hurt me more than any guy has ever hurt me. My mum thinks I’ve been publicly humiliated.”

Now that the freakshow that is the X Factor audition process is over, we’re about to move into Boot Camp and then the live shows.
I noticed last year that Louis Walsh has a particular catchphrase any time he was asked to make a tough decision. His little grey face would take on a look of total constipation, and then he’d utter….

Anyone else notice that? “This is the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make….oh, go on then, The Conway Sisters!” (for example).

Famous musical producer, Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, has hit back at claims that the reality TV show ‘How Do We Solve A Problem Like Maria’ was a fix. The new show was created to find a new actress/ singer to play the famous role of Maria in a new West End production of The Sound Of Music.
Reports suggested that winner Connie Fisher had already started to record songs before she was announced as the winner.
Webber said to the press; “We didn’t know she was going to win.” He added that Fisher started to record songs for the musical’s accompanying album last Tuesday, after the winner was announced on live television.
“I don’t see how I can fix a show like the Maria programme. It’s completely a public vote. I didn’t even know until three minutes before the end of the show that Connie had won it.” Webber added.

The X Factor has been accused of playing up to and fixing situations for the cameras.
‘X Factor’ reject Debbie Stevens threw a glass of water over Westlife manager Louis Walsh on Saturday night’s show but insists Sharon Osbourne told her to do it.
Debbie, 18, revealed to Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “After my audition went really badly Sharon took me in hand and led me out of the room because she could see I was upset.
“When we got outside I told her I was so angry with Louis for saying I would never be a star I felt like I wanted to throw water over him.
“What they didn’t show on telly was that Sharon told me: ‘You go ahead. Do it! Soak him, but use Simon’s glass because it’s got more water in it’.â€?
This revelation comes hot on the heels of last weeks news that Sharon Osbourne had refilmed the scenes where she learned of a devastating fire in her home. Reality TV? Maybe not!

Love Island winner Calum Best has today revealed that he is keen to fall in love, get married and start a family any time soon.
“I’ve got this playboy image which I don’t mind running with, and I don’t really do much to make people think otherwise,” he told Celebs on Sunday. “But just because I’ve had a couple of years sowing my oats doesn’t mean I’m going to be single my whole life.
“When it’s time for me to settle down, and I’ve found the right person, I’ll put in 100%. Do I want kids? For sure. I haven’t planned when - but of course I do.”
