Tony Audenshaw AKA Emmerdales Bob Hope, has vowed that he will steal the Soapstar Superstar crown from Antony Cotton in next years series.

The actor told The Sun: “I was approached to be in the last series but I had booked a holiday with my family in Tenerife.

“I sing in a band and I’ve been in Celebrity Stars In Their Eyes as Kenny Rogers and Roy Wood, so I’d be quite keen to take part in the next lot of shows.�

Jo O’Meara and Cleo Rocos have left the Big Brother House even though it was Dirk Benedict, not Cleo, who got the boos during the voting, outside of the house before eviction. Cleo was cheered by the crowds. Jo looked stunned at the world-wide fuss over the supposed bad treatment of Shilpa, and rightfully so, pointing out that you cannot go into a house the size of Big Brother’s with so many people in it and expect to get on with everyone and that she had found Shilpa irritating although, when Shilpa became more natural and just herself, in the last few days, she started to like her.

Maybe now Danielle Lloyd will have a chance to win. All in the house seem to love her (not some of her habits or language but hey, who is perfect???) Danielle has been very entertaining, sweet most of the time and just herself. She is very, very beautiful but cute with it. She has a sunny nature and gets on with everyone. It would be good to see Jermaine Jackson come second and Shilpa Shetty third. Any modelling company, who has dropped Danielle over this ridiculous outcry, must be out of its mind. I would say that they would be the losers as there will be many others more than willing to sign her up. Besides, if she continues to be bullied by the public and media she could go anywhere in the world and be a successful model and then we, the public, would be the losers. As for losing her boyfriend, old Ted ‘whatshisname,’ she can do a lot better than a boyfriend who does not even have the decency to break off with her face to face or better still, stand by her. (Here, just seen by me, she is lovingly and loyally wearing his top on TV, reminding us his name is ‘Sheringham’) but is he any better than the aunt who supposedly betrayed her for money?

It is tragic that this is where are, taking the lives of three young women so lightly that they can be destroyed by playing the Celebrity Big Brother game.

Voting has begun for the remaining six contestants, the finalists, Danielle, Jermaine, Shilpa, Jack Tweed, Ian and Dirk to win. The ‘final curtain’ is on Sunday at 8pm on Channel 4.

Well, they couldn’t really let Jo go out and face the music on her own, could they?

Pretty sneaky move on the part of Big Brother, as we sort of wanted to see someone take the fall for last week’s racism and bullying extravaganza. It looked likely that Jo was going to take the fall…until they chucked Cleo Rocos out at the same time.

So - Jo’s boos were mixed with Cleo’s cheers and now the production crew have about an hour to brief Jo and Cleo on what’s been happening for the last couple of weeks. So, the voting public are denied the look of shock on Jo’s face as she discovers just how vile most of the nation thinks she is. Not fair.

On a personal level, I’ve been very disappointed by Jo on Celebrity Big Brother. I used to admire her in S Club 7, and always assumed that she was a leader in that group and not a follower. To find out she picks on people and invents huge vendettas against people was a big letdown…..

Jo’s Exit Interview

Well, contrary to what I expected Davina virtually made mincemeat of old Jo. No holds barred, although how much did Jo know in the hour leading up to the interview? I don’t know.

Still, she didn’t seem to have the wit to properly distance herself from the Shilpa/Jade debacle. Davina: “So, was that what you’re really like?” Jo: “Duh, yeah Davina. Smoking, hating, that’s me love. Did you like me dressing gown?”

It’s just a shame that the hack job that Jade “emotional damage” Goody should have received fell to Jo, who was really only a bit player!

Cleo’s Interview

Poor Cleo, all she did was stood by and watched, but Davina needed to know why she didn’t intervene. And having seen her swift destruction of Jo O’Meara, she was obviously a bit guarded. Although Davina treated her as an accomplice by not getting involved and choosing instead to drag in Jermaine.

Never mind, Cleo still came across pretty well, given the circumstances. The post-Big Brother press circuit will tell whether she’s got staying power.

Lorenzo Preecha demanded to be flown home from the Cook islands after only 3 weeks as he was convinced that Channel 4’s reality TV show Shipwrecked is rigged. He also believes that the shows producers have used fellow contestant Lucy Buchanan and pushed her into making racist comments in order to boost ratings.

He said: “I feel sorry for Lucy — she’s just a pawn in their game.�

He added: “You have to do up to ten interviews a day and if producers aren’t happy with your answers they keep asking.

“You just say what they want to hear so you can end the interview.

“They’d have said to Lucy that she mustn’t know many black people, and prompted her in that way to come out with those comments.

Lucy’s a sweet, naive girl and she’s been used by the producers.�

Lorenzo revealed that the more controversial a contestant, the more money they could make. Producers are offering a £15,000 prize for the most entertaining contestant, on top of the £70,000 the winning team will share.

That explains a lot!

Louis Rennocks from the Channel 4 reality TV show Shipwrecked was arrested last night as he arrived back in the UK.

Louis was arrested at Heathrow airport for failing to turn up in court over shoplifting charges at a Leicester supermarket.

The 19 year old missed his Leicester court date because he was already in Fiji filming for the show. Rennocks was reportedly arrested before disembarking from the flight by two armed police officers.

Danielle Lloyd’s family and friends have today released a statement regarding the current racism claims being made against the model.

This is the statement in full: “Obviously the media attention on events in the CBB house has escalated beyond everybody’s imagination and the allegations being made against Danielle for alleged racism within the house are extremely distressing for her family and her friends.

“If Danielle were aware of even the smallest elements the reaction to how the events are being interpreted she would be absolutely distraught. We maintain that Danielle is not in any way racist and we do not believe that any comments she has made within the BB house are demeaning in a racially motivated manner.

“Clearly the behaviour in the house is unpleasant and harrowing to watch. We recognise a lack of cultural understanding and immaturity in the way Danielle is behaving in this very controlled environment.

“Danielle and her close circle of friends are of so many different races, cultures and ethnic groups that they are very comfortable with their cultural differences and comfortable discussing and even joking about these differences.

“The difference and problem seems to be in the lack of social and class understanding - in Danielle’s case her circle of friends are all living and have in the main, been brought up in the UK in a hugely multi cultural society where these exchanges are not considered racially demeaning and Danielle is interacting with Shilpa on the same basis.

“In light of the media and public scrutiny of the comments which Danielle has made and the interpretation of them worldwide, her friends and her family believe it is necessary to address these individual comments as she is not here to speak for herself: “She’s a dog’ - This is not a racially motivated comment, it’s an unpleasant word which is often used by young people today in a variety of different situations in contemporary english language.

“When Shilpa was bleaching her facial hair a discussion began amongst the girls about facial hair and bleaching and genuine inquisitive questions were asked of Shilpa.

“Shilpa was involved in this discussion and Danielle said in a throwaway manner She wants to be white’.

“This is much the same as when Danielle’s friends tease her for her love of sunbathing and her mixed race friends joke with her.

Friend of Danielle’s Leandra Anderson said: “If Danielle had been putting on fake tan for example, we may joke with her that she’s ‘trying to be black’ but that wouldn’t be seen as racist or offensive.

“Is it India they eat with their fingers or is that China?’ - Danielle genuinely wanted to know the answer to this and the question was not racially motivated.

“I don’t know where her hands have been’ - this is not racially motivated, was said in an insulting manner but Danielle would have said this about anyone handling food with their fingers.

“F*** off home’ - we maintain there was no racial undertone to this comment on Danielle’s part, it was however aggressive in the situation but we believe the the argument and comments which preceded this were purely based on class and social differences between the housemates.

Danielle has had a very different upbringing to Shilpa whilst Shilpa is of Indian high society.

“F*** off home’ is a term frequently used sometimes as an insult and sometimes in a jovial fashion between young people today.

Friend of Danielle’s, Sarah said: “Those of us close to Danielle know well that she has very little time for people who believe they are automatically entitled to special treatment because of their status -be that due to society or celebrity.

“From watching events in the house we believe that Shilpa has been openly, but possibly unintentionally, reminding the other housemates of her elevated status and this may have antagonised Danielle”.

Her family continued: “Comments have been made about Danielle mimicking Shilpa’s accent - again this was not racially motivated, Danielle is well known for mimicking people’s accents and she is frequently the object of others mimicking her liverpudlian accent - including in the BB house where they have all been enjoying each other’s different accents.

“Danielle has been brought up in an environment where many close family friends are of varying races and cultural backgrounds - she would be devastated to know that through her naivety she has left her comments open to such drastic misinterpretation. Her relaxed attitude towards cultural and racial differences has left her wide open to criticism globally because she doesn’t consider race to be an issue for her and not because race is an issue.

“As regards to allegations of bullying in the house Danielle has allowed herself to be swept along with the girls and situations and she has said things which she will certainly regret. However Danielle herself was bullied and she would be very remorseful to learn that she is being viewed as a perpetrator of this - “We believe however that her allegiance to the other girls has more to do with class differences between them all and Shilpa.

“Due to the enclosed and controlled environment of the Big Brother house, the perception of life within the house and events is being magnified and perhaps distorted and what is going on is certainly unpleasant behaviour at best, but is predominantly a class and social problem.

“Danielle will of course be responding herself to all media upon leaving the BB house.

Danielle Lloyd has declared many times in the Celebrity Big Brother house her desire to marry her boyfriend Teddy Sheringham. So imagine how gutted she will be to leave the house to a chorus of boos and the news that Teddy has dumped her.

Cowardly Teddy didn’t even wait for Danielle to leave the house, but instead has asked her mum to collect her belongings from his flat immediately.

What a man!

Cleo Rocos has today revealed to Big Brother that not only has she made some new friends in the house but she has also found a soulmate in Jo O’Meara.

Speaking in the diary room, Cleo said:

“We’ve become close to soulmates in a short time… I haven’t had a friend like that for many, many years. That’s not something you can fake,”

“It’s somebody you least expected it to be. I think she’s fantastic… she’s very genuine,”

Either Big Brother is editing Jo’s footage really well or Cleo is dillusional. Jo does not come across as genuine, in fact I have yet to see a characteristic of Jo’s that I like. Jo has been portrayed as nasty, bitchy, whiny and grumpy…I just don’t see what Cleo likes so much.

Kay Burley has sustained yet another injury this week as she managed to hit the ice face first when practising a lift.

Kay told The Sun: “I am now sporting a black eye worthy of ten rounds with Mike Tyson.

“Fred grabbed me from behind by one leg and span me round.

“I had a second to think ‘Ooh that ice looks closer than it should’. Next thing Christopher Dean was asking if I was OK.�

That ice skating is more dangerous than it looks, with at least three of the girls sporting broken ribs and now Kay’s black eye, I hope the shows producers have taken out a good insurance policy!

Kelly Osbourne, who is currently presenting Sky One’s Project Catwalk, says there’s no way she’ll get sucked into dieting - especially after watching her mum Sharon battle with her weight.

‘Seeing her go through her experiences has made me realise I don’t ever want the same thing to happen to me,’ she told The Sun. ‘I don’t even diet. I just believe in eating healthily.

‘I will always be a little bit fat and I don’t care.’

Kelly has also formulated her own theory on how some girls become a perfect size zero.

‘They stick their fingers down their throats or take speed all day,’ she says. ‘It’s very odd to me that people want to look like they’ve just come out of a concentration camp. It’s really sad.’

Apparently Ulrika Johnson is angering Dancing On Ice producers with her constant tantrums and displays of diva like behaviour.

I have to ask why anyone is surprised? Ulrika may be a good skater and quite graceful but she has never been known for her charm or benevolence. I imagine that her fiery temper and low tolerance of others are some of the qualities that attracted the producers to her in the first place. Controversies always attract the viewers (and the tabloids)after all.

Last night the Celebrity Big Brother housemates had to take part in a quiz. In the quiz they had to answer three questions correctly about a fellow housemate in order to win that housemate a prize.

Jermaine’s quiz subject is Danielle. He gets three right and wins Danielle her a bottle of vodka. Shilpa answers three questions correctly about Jermaine and wins him a pair of shoes.

Jack’s subject is Shilpa. He only gets one right - what is Shilpa’s star sign (Gemini). No prize for Shilpa!

Danielle’s subject is Jack she managed to answer three questions correctly and won him another bottle of vodka. Dirk’s specialist subjecy is Jo. He fails miserably, answering only one question correctly, no hair dye for Jo!.

Cleo’s specialist subject is H. She answers three questions correctly and two wrong. H gets £10 for his chosen charity….how sweet!

H failed to answer three questions about Dirk…but to be fair who would have guessed that the person Dirk most admires is Dirk?

This week Nanny Stella visits the Kramer family from Iowa. Mum Jessica and dad Ted have four children - three sons, aged five, four and two and a baby girl. However, these parents do not know how to discipline their motley crew.

And without any discipline, the kids run wild. They leave the house without telling anyone, the family’s last car was ruined because the boys scratched the outside and drew all over the inside and the youngest son constantly plays with the plug sockets. Bedtime is just as chaotic as the parents drive their children around town to get them to fall asleep!

Nanny Stella informs these parents that their lack of discipline is jeopardising their children’s safety. Once they realise Stella is right, mum and dad finally master the timeout technique. The children begin to settle down and they also learn to sleep in their own beds.

This morning held a lot of excitement for the Celebrity Big Brother housemates as they woke to discover a white and snowy garden.

Like a child on Christmas morning Shilpa Shetty was awe struck by the sight, declaring repeatedly that this was the first time she had seen a snow fall.

Jermaine Jackson was also spellbound by the sight declaring “Oh my god, my wish has come true,”

Lifes simple things eh?

Danielle Lloyds aunt has come out today to call model Danielle Lloyd a racist and added that she understands why Teddy Sheringham has dumped her.

Angela Schofield told Star magazine: “It was disgusting the way Danielle treated Shilpa. I’m surprised Big Brother didn’t throw her out of the house.

“Danielle is being racist and Teddy has an image and career to protect. If he stays with her, it could affect him in a big way.”

Whether or not Angela is speaking the truth I have no respect for a family member that would sell out her niece in this way. I hope she is happy with her few pounds I hope it was worth the betrayal.
