The Mirror newspaper has reported that a dedicated team of police officers will be wtaching the new series of Big Brother and will have the power to stop the show if there is any hint of racism.
A police source said: “No hint of that will be tolerated. If necessary, we’ll visit the studio to apprehend housemates.”

Apprentice reject, Adam Hosker, has shocked Apprentice producers by applying for next years series.
He told pals: “I still think I can be Sir Alan’s Apprentice. I didn’t get much luck and a lot of mud was thrown at me. Next time it will be different.”
Seriously? Can he really be as stupid as he looks?????

ITV’s new entertainment series, Britain’s Got Talent, reunites Ant and Dec and Simon Cowell for the first time since Pop Idol. And this time they are on a unique search for an exceptional act to perform in front of Her Majesty The Queen at this year’s Royal Variety Performance.
Simon heads the judging panel and is joined by actress Amanda Holden and ex journalist and author Piers Morgan. Their quest is to find Britain’s top talent and the only rules are that there are no rules! The show is open to any performer, any age and with any background. Due to its massive ratings success, the BBC has extended this years series of Any Dream Will Do by one week.
It was also reported that BBC boss, Peter Fincham, wanted to add a number more shows but Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber declined due to the imminent rehearsals for the Joseph stage show.

Glamour model, Danielle Lloyd has revealed that she will not be watching Big Brother 8 when it launches tonight.

Channel 4 have today released some teasers, hinting at the identity of some of tonights new housemates. First of all, all of tonights housemates are women and…..
* Two have children and nine are single
* One female housemate could read from the age of two
* This year’s house features the oldest contestant to date
* One is a cleaner, one is a nanny, while another used to work as a lapdancer
* Three have never been on a plane
* One of the housemates is a member of the Women’s Institute

An insider has told The Daily Mirror newspaper that all 12 housmeates entering Big Brother tonight will be female. The plan is said to be that one of the girls will be evicted on Friday and be replaced by the first male.
“It will be a hilarious start. The girls’ behaviour will be fascinating. The first man in will be a real hunk – so the girls can flirt and fight over him” an insider said.

Live on Channel 4, Davina McCall gives viewers a first look around the new-look Big Brother House, before the new batch of housemates move in for this bigger-than-ever eighth series. Viewers then get the chance to watch the new housemates’ first moments together as they settle in for their first night in the revamped house.

Chris Moyles received a tour of the Big Brother house and during his breakfast show on Radio One a slip of the tongue revealed that there may be a whole new floor!
In describing the house Chris said:
“They wouldn’t let me downstairs though.. whoops”
Comedy Dave replied: “Downstairs? What a whole new floor” Chris replied swiftly with ‘Let’s move on’.
Wouldn’t a basement be cool! I wonder what the housemates could get up to down there?
