Sam And Amanda Most Popular Big Brother Housemates EVER

Big Brother 8: Amanda MarchantA record £5 million has been bet on Sam and Amanda Marchant to win Big Brother 2007, making them the most popular Big Brother housemates yet.

The bookies stand to lose a fortune if the girls win, as they were first given the odds of only 20/1 when people were sure Brian would win.

Ladbrokes spokesman Nick Weinberg said last night: “The twins will go down in BB history.

They’ve managed to steer clear of all the bitching and back-stabbing which has made them firm favourites amongst the punters. If they’re crowned queens of BB their army of fans will only increase. Continue reading ‘Sam And Amanda Most Popular Big Brother Housemates EVER‘ »

Mel B For Dancing With Stars

Melanie BrownIt has been revealed the Scary Spice herself has been lined up to compete in Dancing With Stars, the US version of Strictly Come Dancing.

The 32-year-old will be joined on the show by British actress Jane Seymour, singer Marie Osmond, Las Vegas performer Wayne Newton, boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. and model Josie Maran.

I bet Mel B decided to take part after seeing the excellent reception her former bandmate, Emma Bunton received on the British show last year.

ITV Boss Slams Big Brother and Eastenders

In a recent interview with Digital Spy, ITV’s head of entertainment blasted shows from rival channels.

When asked if he had been watching the current series of Big Brother, Paul Jackson said: “I have watched it a bit, because you kind of have to.

“Though I just don’t know how many more rather unpleasant foul-mouthed pole dancers I want to watch, getting their tits out and screaming at each other in the middle of the night.”

Andrew Lloyd Webber Says X Factor A Hit Because He’s Not On TV

Andrew Lloyd Webber has said that the only reason the X Factor is enjoying such high ratings at the moment, is because his shows are off air.

The Lord, 59, said: “Last year it was up against Maria for a few weeks.

“We took a big chunk of their ratings. We were getting about six million and they were getting about seven million.

“So of course they are doing well this year — there’s nothing up against them.”

Lloyd Webber also revealed he will be back on TV with a BBC Christmas special with all the Maria and Joseph finalists.

And he added: “I am still talking with the BBC for a show next year. But it won’t be one of my musicals.”

Kelly Osbourne Not Returning to I’m A Celebrity

Kelly OsbourneWhat a shocker! Kelly Osbourne has revealed that she will not be returning to ITV2’s I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here Now! this year.

Anyone who saw Kelly on the show last year would have been impressed with her impressions of a tree……yes she was that wooden.

I’m sure such a big production could find a better presenter….. I hear Kate Thornton’s looking for a job…
