One of the big reasons that many people enter ITV’s Britian’s Got Talent show is because of the promise of a prominent slot in the fully televised Royal Variety Show. However the future of BGT winners appearing in the show has been thrown into doubt after a BBC insider suggested that they would not welcome the winner of an ITV show on theior channel.
In 2008 the Royal Variety Show will switch from ITV to BBC One and it is reported that BBC bosses are considering banning Britain’s Got Talent performers.
An insider commented: “I would be very surprised if we let the winner of one of ITV’s most popular shows take pride of place on BBC1.”
An ITV source said: “There’s a meeting in the diary to talk about this with the BBC. It would be silly of them to turn this down as we’ll effectively be promoting their show.”

The latest casualty of the show has been Eastenders actor, Matt Di’Angelo, who has been ordered to take three days out from rehearsing after tearing his knee ligaments.
The Sun: “One minute I was dancing and all of a sudden I was in pain. I pulled some ligaments in my leg and I’ve had to have physio.

So this week was the last week of Auditions before they begin the first stages of boot camp and there were some really good singers.
Analise who I think sang ”And I am telling you” had loads of confidence and has a brilliant voice, but the one that surprised me was Rid’ because the ones that have all the confidence in the X Factor go into the Audition room don’t actually do as well as they think they will. Rid came in very confidant and began to sing an opera song. The judges try to catch him out with telling him that he may have to sing songs like dancing queen in the live stages he sings the song to prove that he could do it and so they put him through. Did you see Dani’s face when he walked out, don’t think they will be going on a date!
The other ones that were good this week were Cece who did very well, and there was a girl who sang Ben by Michael Jackson, I thought that she did sounded great and I think that she will do well in the competition. I also thought that Luke who was the boy who sang and was asked to come back and sing again the next day, sang the chorus of his song and the judges were a little disappointed in him, because he hadn’t learned the verse and the chorus. I think that Luke will do well as long as he sits down and tries to learn the songs the best he can and show the judges that you are working your hardest and the judges will respect that. Jamelia seems to think that if she slags off enough people in the press people will rush out to buy her records. It may work for Lily Allen but I’m not sure that Jamelia is going to have the same success.
Bitchy singer, Jamelia, has once again turned her vapid tongue to X Factor winner Leona Lewis in her latest attack.
She told The Sun: “When Simon stops all this stupid hype about her, that’s when we’ll see if she can deliver. Like every artist Simon has, she’ll fade into obscurity eventually.”
Jamelia added: “Only Will Young has been successful, and that was because he’s talented and cut ties with Simon. Leona is a poor man’s Mariah Carey.
“Simon’s lost it. He is disrespectful. Leona may be talented, but she’s not worked as hard as me or others in the industry – fact!”
