However, the Blue Peter heart throb has revealed that he has in fact received numerous begging letters from besotted fans asking for pairs of his dirty socks.

Gethin told The Sun:

“People keep writing asking for my socks — and they insist they are used.”

In a last bid attempt to save her ailing career, Jade Goddy is trying to pitch the idea of her and boyfriend Jack getting married on a TV show to TV production companies.

However, a source told The Sun that no one is showing a lot of interest in Jade’s idea.

The source stated: “Jade is up for this being her latest foray into reality TV.

“But she has struggled this year ever since her big Celebrity Big Brother debacle.

“Being caught up in the race row has sent her career into freefall.”

Please God! I hope no one agress to this! I thought we had seen the last of Ms. Goody.

Spice Girl and almost winner of US TV show Dancing With Stars, Mel B, has revealed that she and bandmate Emma Bunton will be allowed to show off their newly found dance skills as part of the Spice Girls tour.

Mel B told The Mirror: “We have this little tango section so we can show off our stuff. Me and Emma were quite obviously pleased to get that in.”

I can’t believe it! For the first time since entering the I’m A Celebrity jungle camp, former model, Janice Dickinson has finally spoken some sense!

Yesterday she warned Cerys to be careful with men and to put her children first.

The conversation started when Janice said she was happy for Cerys and asked if she was excited.

Cerys said: “I’m excited but it’s so early days.”

Janice: ”Go slow. You’ve got to look after your children first.”

Cerys: “Oh God yeah. That goes without saying.”

Janice: “It could give your children a sense of, ‘I’m supposed to be number one’.”

The I’m A Celebrity contestants had a close call in camp when they spotted a deadly Funnel Web spider – which can kill within an hour - under Janice’s bed.

The drama unfolded when J spotted the shiny black spider scurrying around. He yelled out: “Oh dear, it’s one of the bad ones folks. I think we’ve got a bad spider in camp, quite a big black shiny spider in camp.”

Janice immediately started panicking and yelling: “Get it, get it, get it.”

J tried to catch the spider under a frying pan, but it crawled out and disappeared.

But the spider soon emerged again and Janice became quite hysterical as J tried to catch it.

He said: “Stop panicking me while I get it.”

J scooped the spider into a glass jar and took it to the Bush Telegraph.

Biggins said: “Well done J, you’re my man.”

Later Gemma explained to the Bush Telegraph: “We tried to get it but it escaped. It escaped under Janice’s bed. J was a hero because I wouldn’t have got near a venomous spider, no way.”

Biggins said: “Very brave J, he was rummaging around very bravely with a glass canister to find the spider and we couldn’t find it at all and Janice was getting mad because it was under her bed.” Read more & comment »

Mel B narrowly missed winning US TV show, Dancing With Stars as she finished in second place last night.

The Spice Girl tried to put a brave face on her loss, but in the end admitted that losing “was a horrible feeling. I’m not going to deny it.”

Poor old Mel. At least she has her comeback tour to look forward to!

Simon Cowell is busy planning the world’s biggest talent show according to The Sun newspaper.

“We have been thinking about doing this for a long time,” he told the paper. “The planet has been crying out for a world talent competition.”

Judges will include Simon and Piers Morgan on a panel of five who will offer their expert opinions on the contestants.

Britain’s Got Talent winner Paul Potts will compete for the UK - who triumphed this year with his performance of Nessun Dorma on the talent show.

Marc Bannerman has now officially lost one of the women he claims to be in love with, as his girlfriend of two years was pictured moving out of their home yesterday.

Sarah spoke to the Daily Mail newspaper about their breakup saying:

“I was shouting at him, ‘Are you in love with Cerys? Yes or no, yes or no?’

“He couldn’t seem to answer. He just said, ‘I don’t know’ and ‘Sorry’ over and over again. He didn’t really make anything clearer to me, I’m absolutely devastated.

“He tried to defend himself saying he didn’t do anything ‘overly physical’ with Cerys. But to see him saying he was in love with her on TV, that’s heartbreaking.

“I told him it was over. I said if he can’t make a decision, then I’ll make a decision for him. That’s it. He didn’t say much.”

We revealed earlier today that Marc Bannerman would not be flying back to Australia to greet Cerys Matthews when she leaves the I’m A Celebrity jungle, however it is rumoured that the former Eastenders star will be recording a video message for her to watch upon her exit.

I wonder what he will say? Wouldn’t it be awful if he dumped her on national TV!

We are deeply saddened and upset to reveal that the delectable Dermot O’Leary will not be presenting any future series of Big Brother’s Little Brother on Channel 4.

Dermot will front E4’s new BB show, Celebrity Hijack, but that will be the end of his Big Brother work.

Dermot commented:

ITV have revealed that the X Factor winner will be releasing the former Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston track, When you believe.

Just as last years song spoke volumes about who the judges were expecting to win the series, from this song choice I assume that Simon & Co are not placing their hope in Leon.

This song would suit either Rhydian, Niki or possibly Hope. Same Difference will never pull it off convincingly and poor old Leon with his farmer Jones dancing just hasn’t got a chance.

Pop songstress Kylie Minogue has added fuel to the rumours that X Factor judges, Simon Cowell and Dannii Minogue are getting it on.
