Gok Wan is to launch an all new clothes show this summer on Channel 4, and he has revealed that he would just love Brad Pitt to take part.
Teletext quotes him as saying: “I want Ryan Phillippe, Orlando Bloom and Brad Pitt, as I think they’re all fit.
“I’m terrible, I’m letting my groin lead me on this. I’ve told the celeb booker who’s cute.”
Now I don’t want to dash any hopes here, but much as Gok may want to style Brad, I just don’t see it happening!
World famous actor Kevin Spacey has blasted the BBC for airing talent shows such as I’d Do Anything and Any Dream Will Do.
Speaking to BBC entertainment reporter Colin Paterson Spacey said: “I felt that was essentially a 13-week promotion for a musical - where’s our 13-week programme?”
The Hollywood star is artistic director at the Old Vic theatre in London.
“I have spoken to your chairman but he has yet to get back to me,” Spacey said. The BBC replied that its shows were not “unduly promotional”.
“These Saturday night shows celebrate musical theatre generally, not just one West End show,” said Elaine Bedell, controller of entertainment commissioning. Continue reading ‘Kevin Spacey Blasts ‘I’d Do Anything’‘ »

I am loving the whole Sunday night results show that I’d Do Anything have stolen from American Idol, it was great to be able to focus last night purely on the performances and then tune in tonight to see who is going home.
I was completely unsurprised to find Francesca in the bottom two. I know that she is one of the more experienced girls on the show, but she just didn’t cut it last night, and no one but John Barrowman picked up her serious tuning issues.
I was quite surprised though to see that Amy was also in the bottom two, and in the end picked to go home. Continue reading ‘Watch Amy Leave I’d Do Anything‘ »

Music moghul, Simon Cowell has reportedly splashed out on a $5 million Los Angeles home for former X Factor winner, Leona Lewis, so she will have a permanent base there.
“Simon thinks she is absolutely amazing so he wanted to treat her,” a source told The People. “He’s so pleased with how hard she works and what a massive success she’s become. Even though Simon is very rich, he’s careful with money and doesn’t like to waste it.”
The insider added: “Leona’s a homely girl and isn’t at all flash so Simon got the idea to buy her something practical she would use. He sees a bright future for her. He thinks she can become a global star like Shirley Bassey or Whitney Houston.”
This week Leona became the first British woman to score an American number one single in over twenty years!
Politician Lembit Opik, better known as other half of a cheeky girl, refused to propose to his girlfriend Gabriella while recording an epsiode of Mr & Mrs for ITV1.
In front of a live audience of 300 people, show hosts Fern and Phillip tried to persuade Lembit to get down on one knee, but he was having none of it!
“It was so embarrassing,” one audience member told The People. “There was an awkward silence. Poor Gabriela didn’t know where to put herself when Lembit refused to ask her.”

I’d Do Anything judge, Denise Van Outen, has just raised in my estimations once again, as she reveals that she refuses to make money out of her romance with Joseph winner, Lee Mead.
“I’m not hiding our relationship, but I don’t want to be a celebrity couple,” Denise told Celebs on Sunday. “I don’t want to make money out of us being together.
“We’ve been asked about advertising his ‘n’ hers mobile phones. People have even started asking if we’d do a fly-on-the-wall documentary and I’m like: ‘No!’ If I ever got married I’d never sell my wedding.”
Denise also gave her opinion on Kerry Katona and her new reality TV show. Continue reading ‘Denise Van Outen Refuses To Capitalise On Lee Mead Romance‘ »
The first person to be ‘fired’ from BBC reality TV show, The Apprentice, has received death threats he claims.
“People have sent me messages saying they want to kill or injure me,” Nicholas told the Daily Star Sunday. “One read something like: ‘If I see you, I’ll hurt you’.”
However in true cocky style Nicholas claims the threats will not deter him.
“The abuse I have had does not bother me,” he said. “I have had some supportive emails too. I take it all as a compliment. They think they can push me down with this abuse but all it does is pump me up. I realised soon after the show started that it was not for me - it was just such hard work. Anti-bullying charity Kidscape has spoken out against BBC reality TV show, The Apprentice.
Kidscape director Claude Knight claimed that scenes of wannabes being humiliated by their fellow contestants on the show can encourage school ground bullying.
“These shows are about public humiliation and The Apprentice takes it to an extreme,” Knight told the Daily Star Sunday.
“Young people will take the behaviour they see in the programme into their everyday lives and the catchphrases come into the language. Kids think: ‘It’s on TV so it must be OK’. It gives bullying a credibility.”
Kidscape was specifically speaking about two scenes that are due to air this Wednesday night. The episode will see Jenny Celerier and Lucinda Ledgerwood at loggerheads and at one point, Lucinda ends up visibly upset after being described as a “fungus” by Jenny, who then threatens to shove a dummy down her throat. I just love the BBC/Lloyd Webber shows! Actually talented people, who can all sing and aren’t there because they look good, or their Scottish!
I loved the little Olivers, and there was a lot of quality singing from the Nancy’s. I don’t think there were any bad performances on tonight’s show, but there were a few stand out girls for me.
I thought that Rachel Tucker was probably the number one tonight, she sang ‘About You Now’, and it’s not really surprising that she was so good given that she’s probably the most trained from the whole group.
Surprisingly brilliant was the red headed Jessie. Jessie opened the show with ‘River Deep, Mountain High’ and apart from her Elvis mouth thing, she really blew me away. How a girl so young can sing so powerfully is beyond me. Continue reading ‘I’d Do Anything: Who Impressed You Tonight?‘ »

Celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay, has revealed that he tried to get ‘Posh Spice’, Victoria Beckham to appear on his last series of Hell’s Kitchen USA.
Ramsay told Access Hollywood: “I thought about having Victoria on as one of the ladies from Beverly Hills in [a] cooking lesson.
“She decided to tour with the Spice Girls. It was a shame because we missed each other by literally a week, otherwise…it would [have been] quite nice to see her attending one of the cooking classes in the kitchen with me breathing down her neck.”
Gordon also shed some light on his friendship with the Beckhams saying: “They’re great foodies. Victoria eats…in a very healthy manner, nothing over-drizzled with olive oil, fat, cream or butter and things lightly steamed.
