In Britain’s Got Talent tonight, husband and wife act Sam and Vicky Lane (34 & 30), otherwise known as Vizage hope they can brighten the Judges day.
For years they have been doing their quick change act in the pubs and clubs around Blackpool but it’s not left them much time for family life, “doing the variety circuit is very hard work, we have always wanted to start a family but we always seem to be putting it off because of work. If we were to win this we could at last think about starting a family of our own”, explains Sam and Vicky. With the three Judges in foul moods it’s a big challenge for Vizage who take their places for the performance of their lives. Read more & comment »
In tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent show, no one is feeling more confident than 8 year old Alex Lees from Manchester, as he tells Ant & Dec he’s not at all worried about performing in front of the Judges, “I’m going to knock Simon Cowell dead, I’m going to strut my stuff and show them what I can do!”. Alex gets himself psyched up as his Mum waits emotionally backstage, but Alex certainly isn’t letting the pressure get to him as he introduces himself to the Judges saying, “I’m really confident”. Alex is going to sing to the Judges today and as he explains to them he discovered he had star quality after he entered a Pontins competition at 18 months old, “I won bonny baby twice”. Being dropped as the face of Asda obviously didn’t upset WAG and TV star, Coleen McLoughlin, for long, as she jetted off to Miami Beach in Florida for her hen night.
The gorgeous WAG got chatted up no less that three times during the night according to The Mirror, however Wayne can rest assured that his wife to be got up to no hanky panky in his absence.
Channel 4’s popular daytime culinary extravaganza, Come Dine with Me , moves into peak-time and this week the show heads to Coventry, where four contenders each stage a dinner party to compete for the honorary title of winning host and the chance to win £1,000.
Pub landlord James feels the heat in the kitchen as he prepares his three courses under the watchful eye of the steely Marie, who’s determined to create the winning meal. ‘Mad scientist’ Vera seems to terrify, rather than entertain, her fellow diners, and Jon most definitely looks the part in his chef’s whites; it’s just a shame his cooking doesn’t live up to his appearance. You may remember Emma Chawner from last years X Factor as the 18 year old blonde girl who showed up wearing the dress her father made. Emma attempted to sing ‘My Heart Will Go On’ for the XF judges, but faced a stinging criticism from Simon Cowell over her babyish singing and awful outift.

You Are What You Eat star, Gillian McKeith, may have been recently voted the Worst Dinner Party Guest in a poll, but she claims that she is much more fun than she seems on TV.
Gillian told MSN:
“I’m not a killjoy. I think people have misunderstood what I say. I have never said you can’t indulge.
“You can enjoy alcohol in moderation. The people on my shows are drinking a huge amount which is bad for their health, which is why I tell them to stop. But if you’re living a healthy life there’s no reason why you shouldn’t have a party or a celebration once in a while.
“If you’re eating healthily 90 per cent of the time you can enjoy alcohol or dessert.
“And I can make some great tasting healthy desserts. My raw cacao bean smoothie looks like chocolate and it tastes better than chocolate.”
Hi folks. I had a chat with Triona Campbell, a producer on the Bebo ‘TV’ show, Sofia’s Diary last week.
Sofia’s Diary is a daily TV show that follows the life of a teenager who’s been sent against her will to live in London. Who wouldn’t want to live in London, right? Well, Sofia finds the transition difficult, and the show revolves around her dealing with daily life, boy troubles and other problems.
It’s what they call a 360 degree experience – you interact by voting on what Sofia should do, and you can get updates to your mobile through a free service.
Anyway, feel free to listen to my chat with Triona – then go away and check out Sofia’s Diary on Bebo.
