Only nine days to go….. I said I was bored with Big Brother, and didn’t expect to be too interested this year, but one look at all the gold oppulence of the new BB house and I’m already hooked!
I am loving the gold seats, statues and fixtures. It reminds me of a tacky mansion of a newly rich person with BAD BAD taste. I wouldn’t live there, but it certainly isn’t forgettable!
The pool looks bigger, so here’s hoping that doesn’t lead to another Anthony and Makosi situation, I don’t think my stomach could handle that! Read more & comment »

This week’s Apprentice is on TONIGHT instead of tomorrow because of the damned football. So don’t miss it!
In this weeks task, the teams have to hire out super cars to members of the unsuspecting public.
Here is a great clip of Lucinda accosting people on Kings Road London. The only problem is she isn’t actually sure what car she is trying to sell!!! Dopey cow!
Famously slender style guru Trinny Woodall was shocked to discover she has the so-called fat gene FTO, while her co-presenter Susannah Constantine does not.
The girls took a DNA test for their new ITV series The Great British Body, along with over hundred other volunteers as part of an investigation in to the gene. It is believed to increase a person’s propensity to put on weight if they are a carrier, and may increase their weight by up to half a stone compared to those who don’t have the gene.
Susannah said: “I was astonished, and over the moon. I’m not going to pretend I’m going to be magnanimous in victory…I know it’s down to genes and no one can help it [the result], but I’m quite elated! And meanwhile my fat friend here [to Trinny] I don’t know what you’re going to do?!”
Trinny: “I’m probably going to have my croissant and cappuccino!” Read more & comment »
Tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent first live show was fantastic. Entertainment just as it should be.
To sum it up quickly, Michael the Star Wars keyboard player was crap, Tracy Lee Collins the singer turned drag queen was also unimpressive. Boogie Wonderland’s routine with the actual car and Union Jack was fun but not amazing, the bellydancer was pretty and sexy but not the best dancer I’ve ever seen and the juggler was just a bit blah.
I loved Signature, the Michael Jackson dance act, they were just so original. Kate and Gin were also great, and though I couldn’t agree with Piers that Gin is the most talented dog in the world, she is certainly very talented. Dean Wilson sang a West Side Story track, he was passionate and believable and though I liked his voice, I saw better singers turned away from BBC’s Jospeh show last year. Read more & comment »

Britain’s Got Talent judge, Amanda Holden, has revealed that she would love a non singing act to win the show this year.
“I have to say that two of the strongest acts this year are singers – and child singers at that – but I’d love a non-singer to win the show,” Amanda told the Daily Star. “Paul Potts set the bar last year but I’d like the show to prove that it can deliver a great British variety act.”
Amanda added that she intends to stay on the show for as long as it runs….. Read more & comment »
