Maysoon Leaves The Big Brother House

Maysoon has walked out of the Big Brother house after spending only four weeks as a housemate.

On last night’s highlights show, Maysoon admitted that she was considering leaving the house because she was so homesick.

After confirming her decision to leave in the diary room, Maysoon told pals Sara, Kathreya and Rachel: “They asked me loads of questions. I never really got 100% comfortable in the house.

“It was hard for us coming in halfway through, people already have their friends. I’m happy with the month I did. I wouldn’t change it.” Read more & comment »

Big Brother: Rex Newmarks Girlfriend Enters The House

Big Brother displayed his evil streak again last night as he brought Rex Newmark’s girlfriend into the house but stopped him from seeing her.

As part of the cops and robbers task, Nicole Cammack along with Mohamed’s brother and four actors all had to place in an identity parade.

All of the housemates got to meet her, expect for Rex who was kept under lock and key only yards away!

Big Brother: DALE, LUKE, DARNELL, REX, MOHAMED, RACHEL & STUART

Dale and Luke this week will face the next Big Brother eviction via the public vote on Friday 01 August. Dale received six nominations with Luke receiving five.

This afternoon, Big Brother informed housemates that a number of them including Head of House Stuart, had broken the fundamental rule of talking about nominations several times today. Housemates have been predicting who will face the public vote, as well as who they may have nominated. Many housemates have been talking about nominations in code.

Effective immediately was the loss of Stuart’s title of Head of House. Big Brother has said that there will be further consequences. As a result of the rule break Darnell, Rex, Mohamed, Rachel and Stuart will join Dale and Luke to face the public vote. Read more & comment »

Liz Hurley To Appear In Farmyard Reality TV Show

Actress and model, Liz Hurley is reportedly making a reality TV show showing her on her English farm.

The Sun reports that Liz wants to show her less glamorous side and will appear in wellies and parkas on her estate in Cirencester, Gloucs, where she keep chickens and sheep.

Mum-of-one Liz said: “People always imagine me with perfect hair. But that’s not who I am.

“The first time he saw me in the country, my husband found me in wellies, covered in mud.”

Big Brother: Imogen Thomas Calls Rex Newmark A Bully!

Former Big Brother finalist, Imogen Thomas, has hit out at Rex Newmark’s bullying behaviour and said his tirade against Rachel has to stop.

Yesterday Rex attacked Rachel after Big brother let some of the heavenly housemates watch her audition video.

He accused her of not being real and said: “You were a sexy bitch. But in reality, I’d swap you for Scrabble.”

Imogen told The Sun: “Just because she hasn’t made herself the centre of attention doesn’t mean she’s a liar.

“Rex is just being a bully and picking on her because he’s bored and has nothing to do.

“Rach is always really bubbly, sexy and confident. I don’t care what Rex thinks, whoever you are in your audition video is who you are.” Read more & comment »

Simon Cowell Breaks Up With Terri Seymour

X Factor judge, Simon Cowell, has reportedly broken up with his girlfriend, Terri Seymour after a blazing row.

A friend of Simon’s told Star magazine: “He told me he is tired of Terri’s insecurities. They lead separate lives, and that’s how he likes it, but lately she has turned up unannounced at events he is at.

“Just recently, she was meant to be working on a red carpet as part of her presenting job for US TV show ‘Extra’. But instead she turned up at a party Simon was at with Ryan Seacrest. Simon wasn’t happy and felt like she was checking up on him.”

Big Brother 2008: Day 53 Highlights

10.15am: Most of the housemates from hell are in the bedroom. “I didn’t realise I woke you”, Kathreya says to Lisa about waking her last night. “I didn’t think we were that loud last night”, says Rachel. “You could hear everything”, says Lisa before adding that she’s happy for noise up until about 2am.

12.26pm: Luke is in the Diary Room talking to Big Brother about being bored. “I’m sick and tired of the same mundane gimmicks like singing and cooking all the time. I’m at the end of my tether with it Big Brother”, he says. “Kathreya, Rachel, Darnell, Mohamed, those four in particular”, he adds before saying that he thinks that if they have their way it won’t be long until he is evicted as they have got rid of everyone else they don’t like. He goes on to explain the reason he thinks they don’t like him is because he is a negative person and because he had a very close friendship with Rebecca. “I can’t tell you how affected I’ve been by Rebecca leaving”, he says choking back tears. “I’m not coping well at all. I honestly thought I would, and she said I would but I’m not”, he adds. “That’s why I’m so angry. I feel so robbed”, he says adding that Rebecca didn’t deserve to leave and she was the entertainment in the house. Read more & comment »

Graham Norton On This Weeks F Word With Gordon Ramsay

The series comes to a spectacular climax as Gordon travels to Iceland and the Sierra Nevada in Spain, and makes an emotional return to his old football club in Scotland. In the restaurant Gordon takes on the ultimate challenge: cooking one of Janet’s veal calves for 50 vegetarians who want to try meat again; in the recipe challenge Graham Norton and Gordon compete to have their roasted peach dish served to the diners for dessert; and the winning brigade from the series return to cook three luxurious dishes that everyone can prepare at home.

The F Word: Gordon Ramsay’s Close Call

Gordon Ramsay has revealed that he had a very close call after plunging off a 280ft high cliff in Iceland whilst filming for his TV show, ‘The F Word’.

Gordon told The Sun last night: “I thought I was a goner.

“They say cats have nine lives. I’ve had 12 already and I don’t know how many more I’ll have.

“I remember thinking, ‘Oh f***’. My boots and my waterproofs were dragging me down.

“I’m an extremely good swimmer, but I couldn’t get to the surface. I was panicking and my lungs were filling with water.

“When I got to the top after getting my boots off I was dazed and my head was totally numb.”

When he didn’t emerge for 45 seconds the TV crew threw him a rope and pulled him to safety. Read more & comment »
