On tomorrow night’s X Factor show Dermot meets Scott Bruton, a 19 years old from Manchester and asks him to tell us more about himself.
“I’m a bluecoat at Pontins so a bit nervous today as holiday camp entertainers get quiet bad press so I don’t know how the Judges will take me, especially Simon as he’s not a fan” says Scott.
“What’s the dream?” asks Dermot, “I just want people to pick up a CD and says that’s Scott Bruton, it would make my dream come true”, Scott enters the audition room

On tomorrow night’s X Factor show we meet 80 year old Cyril who believes that you are never too old to sing.
“I am 80 years old but I feel half my age” Cyril tells Dermot O’Leary, “it’s a beautiful feeling”. “I’m here because I have a feeling I can win it, I’ve always wanted to be a big star, all my life, it was one of my big dreams. I want to prove that you’re never too old to make it”. “I have the will, drive and enthusiasm” laughs Cyril.
Dermot opens the door to the audition room and Cyril confidentially walks in and tells them his age, they all say “WOW”

Willie Thorne, who appeared on last years Strictly Come Dancing series has admitted that he hasn’t danced since leaving the show.
Thorne, 54, told Teletext: “I haven’t danced since because I broke my leg and I put on three stone.
“But I still intend to do some dancing with my wife. It’s a shame as I lost two stone while training for five weeks. I want to learn to jive.”

Jessie is best known for her role as Kat Slater in BBC One’s EastEnders, which she played for five years.
Her career started in entertainment as a make-up artist at the Royal Shakespeare Company but she went on to drama college where she graduated in 1999.
Jessie’s first television appearance was in an episode of The Bill for ITV, and her EastEnders role was her second.

He has also appeared in crime drama C.A.T.S. Eyes, New Street Law, Grange Hill, Red Dwarf, Holby City and The Crouches.
Renowned for his deep, theatrical voice, Don has also performed with the National Theatre, the English Shakespeare Company and Bristol Old Vic and regularly provides voice-overs for both BBC TV and radio.

Austin Healey (Strictly Come Dancing partner is Erin Boag)
Austin is a former rugby union ace whose all-round talent made him a regular fixture on the sport pages. He achieved recognition at an early age playing for the England under-21s and became an integral member of the Leicester team at 19.

Mark Foster (Strictly Come Dancing partner is Hayley Holt)
Mark is arguably the most successful swimmer Britain has ever produced. Six times a world champion, he has broken eight world records and won 10 European Champion medals and two Commonwealth Champion medals. He recently competed in his fifth Olympic games.
Mark likes to be vocal about issues he feels strongly about and warns the Strictly Come Dancing judges to watch out.
Mark says: “I’m sure I’ll enjoy some good natured banter with them. I was an avid viewer when my friend Colin Jackson was the runner-up in 2005, and understand that this in a once-in-a-lifetime chance.”

X Factor contestant, Alan Turner has spoken out claiming that did not lie about his family history whilst auditioning for the X Factor.
Alan’s dad spoke out earlier in the week claiming that Alan had lied about not knowing his parents and many other facts, but Alan blamed X Factor editors:
“It wasn’t a true reflection of my life. I felt like a lot of the points were glossed over,” Alan told The Mirror. “But if they did all of it, then it would take up the whole show. There is so much more to my life.” Read more & comment »
