Former American Idol runner up Adam Lambert has admitted that he is backing Crystal Bowersox to win this year’s season of the show.

Crystal will perform as part of the final three contestants in tonight’s semi final show. She will be singing ‘Maybe I’m Amazed’ by Paul McCartney, as chosen by judge Ellen DeGeneres along with another track of her own choice.

Adam has admitted that he loves Crystal’s uniqueness and anti-establishment attitude and is therefore hoping that she will take the title next week.

“I think Crystal is great,” Adam said to HollywoodLife.com at KIIS-FM’s Wango Tango concert in Los Angeles May 15. Asked why he chose her, Adam said, “I love her anti-establishment attitude.”
