Adam Lambert rests up for his ‘big week’

American Idol star Adam Lambert tweeted out an apology to his fans in British Columbia last night, after he finished up his concerts there.

The former Idol runner up wrapped up a two-day mini-tour of the Canadian region with a performance at the River Rock Casino in Richmond on Friday. He sang “Down the Rabbit Hole,” “Soaked” (video below), “Strut,” and of course “For Your Entertainment” and “Whataya Want From Me.”

After the show Adam took to his Twitter page and wrote:

“Oooh that was fun. Thank you all who came. I love u!!! Sorry I can’t come party w/ u but I have such a big week– gotta get some rest. :)”

Adam’s ‘big week’ will include filming mentoring sessions with the remaining American Idol hopefuls, as well as rehearsals for and a performance on the Wednesday night’s results show.

Anyone else excited out there?
