Adam Lambert sings ‘Feeling Good’ but leaves me disappointed…..

I LOVE Adam Lambert and would like to see him win American Idol, however this week his performance just wasn’t up to par for me.

This week Adam Sang ‘Feeling Good’ and he was good, really good, but he wasn’t amazing. I am used to Adam being exceptional and felt slightly let down by the drop.

Abdul compared his show stopping performances to “watching Michael Phelps in the Olympics”, and says he makes her “feel better than good”, while DioGuardi says he’s “shocking in a good way… confusing and shocking and sleazy and superb and way over-the-top.” Jackson labelled the performance “too Broadway and dramatic” before Cowell retorted, “complaining about that for any Adam effort is like complaining that cows moo.” Cowell added that he “can tell that Adam wants to win and entertain every week.”

I think it was a more boring song choice than Adam would usually make and how much pizazz can you really put into a rat pack song? Here’s hoping Adam comes back to form next week, it getting way to close to the final now for him to mess up again.

i totally disagree lisa, i think that was show stopping. yes there was the odd bum note but if was at a live concert and someone gave that performance i would be talking about THAT for the rest of the night. it was original, dramatic, and exceptionally dynamic and i loved it. the whole persona he exudes on stage is one of a superstar, confidence in his own abilities and a real ‘this is me’ attitude.
love him and loved that performance

It wasn’t his best performance, but it wasn’t BAD either. I preferred his voice when he sang to Jamie. He just didn’t have the same rock tone in his voice when he performed it. But he did not deserve to be in the bottom two! No way was he worse than Kris!

His studio version of the song rocks! I absolutely love it!
