American Idol star Adam Lambert graced the Jonathan Ross show last night and gave a short acappella performance of his recent US single ‘Whataya Want From Me.’

During the interview, Adam admitted that his debut album ‘For Your Entertainment’ has retro themes running through it and told Jonathan:

“Oh there’s a lot of influences. 80′s, 70′s, glam rock that’s something that’s inspired me.”

And when Jonathan revealed that he had been besieged by Glambert fans on Twitter, begging him to allow Adam to sing on the show, the former Idol runner up launched into a verse of his hit song saying that the lyric ‘really resonates’ with him.
