American Idol star Adam Lambert has been lined up to perform at the 2010 Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Awards.

The Hollywood Reporter reported that the ‘For Your Entertainment’ singer will not only appear but has also been nominated for ‘Outstanding Music Artist’.

“GLAAD has advocated for out music artists, including myself, and I am proud to be part of the 21st annual GLAAD Media Awards this year,” he said.

The GLAAD Awards will take place in Los Angeles on April 17.
