Last year’s American Idol runner up Adam Lambert will be the first performer to take part in the new and revamped VH1 Unplugged series.

Michelle Collins of BestWeekEver.tv has claimed that she attended the exclusive taping of the show a couple of weeks ago and that VH1 bosses have given her permission to announce the news.

The episode will air in American on March 10th. Lambert is currently engaged in a promotional tour of Australia, where he has just released his debut album ‘For Your Entertainment.’ Check out his SYTYCD performance here.
