Vanessa Wolfe intrigued us on last night’s American Idol and she was the contestant we most wanted to do well.

Vanessa appeared on her VT admitting that she jumped bridges and felt trapped in her small hometown. We found it so endearing when she worried about the bigwig judging panel looking down on her.

Luckily when she sang “Wagon Wheel” she turned out to be a great country singer, though she was the slightest bit nasal. Simon liked her authenticity but said that she needs more self belief.

Vanessa got four yeses and a pass to Hollywood with warnings to practice, work on her self-esteem and stay true to her country roots.
