Casey James is really shining in this year’s American Idol season and tonight he gave front-runner Crystal Bowersox a real run for her money.

During the Lennon/McCartney themed show, Casey gave an amazing rendition of the classic track ‘Jealous Guy.’ We didn’t just think that it was Caseys best performance ever, but indeed it was our favourite performance of the night!

Judges Comments:

Randy Jackson loved that Casey displayed a more sensitive side tonight and said that he really ‘set himself apart.’

Ellen DeGeneres LOVED the arrangement Casey used and said “Your best performance to date,”

Kara DioGuardi “What you showed was vulnerability and depth,” she said, but thinks he can do still more with his voice.

Simon Cowell said it was “The best performance of the night so far,” and added that the difference in Casey’s performances week-to-week was “ginormous”.
