Former American Idol winner David Cook and pop singer Ke$ha have been lined up to perform on this week’s AI results show.

Cook, who recently returned from a songwriting trip to Sweden, revealed the news to his followers on Twitter saying:

“Oh and I brought a present back for everyone. We’ll be performing on idol this wednesday! Be sure to check it out!”

Ke$ha also announced her performance on Twitter writing:

“Party time american idol woot t minus 3 dayz.”

It sounds like it this week’s results show will be chock full of musical goodness, with reports also suggesting that ‘This Is It’ singer-guitarist Orianthi may perform and the final 12 contestants will of course giving us a group performance of a classic Rolling Stones track. Bring it on!
