Did Benami was a stand out contestant in the audition rounds of American Idol this season, but has failed to ‘bring it’ to the live shows so far.

Thankfully, last night’s performance of Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Rhiannon’ was enough to win her favour with the judges and with us too! The judges salivated over her as if she was the next Stevie Nicks and we found the performance both understated and soulful.

Ellen DeGeneres said that she came back well from last week’s critique saying: “No matter if you win, you’re always going to be torn apart by somebody,” she says. “Everybody has opinions, so you have to get back up and sing again. Good job.”

Randy Jackson: “I don’t know if it’s the best you can do,” he adds. “But it was definitely a lot better.”
