American Idol 2010: Didi Benami tells judges to be more consitent and less harsh

Outgoing American idol singer Didi Benami has dished out some of her own advice to the judges who critiqued her.

Benami was eliminated last week after singing “What Becomes of the Broken Hearted” a performance that Kara DioGuardi called ‘overdone’. In an interview today the 23 year old Tennessee girl said that the judges should take some of their own advice.

“I would say be more consistent, just like they told me,” she told the AP.

She added that she thinks the panel could be less critical and more constructive with their comments. Didi said:

“I would also tell them to not be as harsh because some of the things they said were really, really hurtful and not necessary.”

We totally agree with Didi on her first point. The judges can’t decided whether they want folk to ‘make things their own’ or ‘not change it up so much.’ But do you think Simon and Co are too harsh? Leave your comments below!
