Didi Benami made the brave move of performing one of Kara DioGuardi’s very own songs for her Hollywood week performance piece. Didi tried the old flattery strategy and sang ‘Terrified’ by Kara, which we loved! We really need to dig out a few of Kara’s own albums, as we think we’d be big fans!

Back to Dido, she originally auditioned for American Idol in honour of her friend who passed away. Tonight, we were amazed by her performance and think that she has huge potential. Simon loved Kara’s song and said it sounded really current. He also liked the fact that Didi is working as a waitress and has so much to gain from the TV show.
