American Idol insiders have reportedly suggested that newest judge Ellen DeGeneres is driving show bosses crazy with her constant demands.

Sources have suggested that Ellen is asking for a brand new Mercedes as a sign on gift, even though she signed her contract months ago. She is also allegedly insisting that her wife Portia deRossi be invited on AI for a guest appearance.

A show insider told InTouch:

“Ellen is insisting that her wife, Portia de Rossi, be a guest judge in a future episode of the reality show.”

And that’s not all, the source added:

“She wants to do public appearances with Randy [Jackson] so that people will think of her more seriously as a music insider and not just a talk-show host.”

“She’s already redecorating her dressing room and driving everyone crazy with demands,” the insider added.

Another source tells the National Enquirer that DeGeneres “demanded $150,000 for her Idol wardrobe this year.”
