Jermaine Purifory, Janell Wheeler and Casey James formed ‘Middle C’ at American Idol Hollywood week and wowed the judges with a rendition of Ne-Yo ‘s ” Closer “.

They didn’t get as much air time as we would have liked but we were completely blown away by what we did see. We particularly love how much Casey has progressed since that original, shirtless audition!
