Jessica Furney returned for the new season of American Idol, with a full makeover and a determination to impress the judges this time round.

Jessica chose to sing ‘Footprints In The Sand’, a song co-written by Simon Cowell for Leona Lewis.

Simon commented “it’s a beautiful song, good luck.” We liked Jessica’s audition piece much more than last years more bluesy attempt.

Jessica Furney impressed all 4 judges and won a ticket to Hollywood.
