John Park had a bad time on the last night’s American Idol live show. Despite being really likeable, John doesn’t seem to have enough talent to back it up and not one of the judges liked his performance of John Mayer’s ‘Gravity.’

To be fair, we kind of liked John’s vocal performance and he has quite a good singing voice, however we agreed with Randy when he said that he brought ‘nothing new’ to the song and with Ellen when she said there wasn’t ‘enough soul.’

Randy added:

“You didn’t bring anything new or spicy to it. I didn’t see anything special about it”

Kara Dio Guardi said it was “way better than last week” but is still concerned that she has no connection to him.

Simon Cowell thinks that he could be in trouble this week because “there was nothing to get excited about, it was a so-what performance”.
