After Kara Dioguardi bonded so well with last week’s American Idol guest judge Kristin Chenoweth it must have been disappointing that she and Katy Perry clashed so fiercely.

Dioguardi took the p*** out of a number of Perry’s songs, including ‘I Kissed a Girl.’ She even changed the chorus to “I kissed a dolphin.” “Please stop,” Perry said. “I’ll have to throw my coke in your face.”

Later in the day, Perry mocked Dioguardi’s comments on Chris Golightly’s performance. Kara claimed that he connected with his song through ‘the pain and suffering’ he has endured throughout his life.

“This is not a Lifetime movie, sweetheart,” Perry quipped.
