American Idol 2010: Kara DioGuardi says Ryan Seacrest & Simon Cowell are like brothers
American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi has claimed that there is no real animosity between her fellow judge Simon Cowell and show presenter Ryan Seacrest.
On last week’s show the pair had a bit of a run in after Michael Lynche performed, which ended in Ryan approaching the judges table and squaring up to Cowell. Simon hit back on the results show, telling Ryan that he needed to cut out the aggressive behaviour.
However Kara DioGuardi has insisted that the pair are just sparring and have no bad feelings between them.
Speaking to Fox & Friends the songwriter said:
“I know that that’s the way they are. It’s like big brother, little brother. If that was real I would have definitely been leaning the other way!”
Kara went on to say that the panel are all getting along better this season. She laughed and said that Simon “isn’t rolling his eyes,” Randy is a “love,” and new judge Ellen DeGeneres is:
“super funny! The last show, I was laughing at that mariachi band comment.”
