Katie Stevens is the 17 year old who wanted to audition for American Idol for her Grandma who is suffering from Alzheimer’s. Katie wants her Grandma to remember who she is, when she sees her on TV for the first time.

Katie did her Grandma proud in American Idol’s Hollywood week, where she impressed the judges with her fantastic acoustic performance of ” For Once In My Life” at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles.

We loved her honesty and genuine qualities and think she’ll be a popular contestant with the public.
