Last night, one of our favourite American Idol contestants was confirmed as a finalist on this year’s season. Michael Lynche missed his baby girl being born as he was competing in Hollywood week, but rumours have since erupted that after making the final 24, he was swiftly dropped when his Dad sold a story to a local newspaper.

This hasn’t been confirmed by the show, so we’re not sure if it’s even true. But if it is we’d be gutted. For us as well as for him!
