American Idol judge Randy Jackson has admitted that he awarded Victoria Beckham with her very own nickname when she acted as a guest judge on the show.

The former Spice Girl joined Jackson, Simon Cowell and Kara DioGuardi on the panel after the shock departure of fourth judge, Paula Abdul.

“She was actually really cool. I gave her the nickname Lady V, so hopefully she goes out into the world and uses that.” he joked during a press conference for the new series.

“It was cool, all of the guest judges gave a different perspective because they have all been performers of all different ilks and types.”
