American Idol presenter Ryan Seacrest got himself into a bit of hot water this week, after he spoiled the American Idol result for millions of viewers.

Ryan revealed that Lacey Brown has been eliminated on his Twitter page 17 minutes before the result was aired on the West Coast of America. He tweeted:

“Packed radio show tomorrow… got tonight’s voted-off Idol Lacey Brown.”

His spoiler resulted in an avalanche of complaints from viewers who had yet to see the end of the show.

So far Ryan has declined to comment on his mistake and didn’t mention it during his Thursday morning radio show. Fox representatives have also failed to make a comment on the matter.
