Ryan Seacrest met with Microsoft boss and American philanthropist Bill Gates this week, as part of the 2010 Idol Gives Back special.

Seacrest revealed the meeting on Twitter ysterday (April 2nd) when he tweeted:

“Off to seattle today meeting @billgates later, he is going to be a major part of our idol gives back special I’ll let u know who’s taller!”

He later added:

“Just had a great chat with @billgates and melinda for IGB! Off to indy now.”

Much of the Idol Gives Back lineup has already been revealed with Justin Bieber, Carrie Underwood, Alicia Keys, the Black Eyed Peas, Annie Lennox and Jeff Beck all confirmed for performances.
