Adam Lambert wowed again on American Idol last night as he performed the Smokey Robinson song ‘Tracks Of My Tears’.

Unusually Adam was not all glitz and glamour, in fact he really played down the song and showed us a real softer side to himself. He must have done something right as Smokey Robinson himself gave Adam a standing ovation.

I always thought that Adam bore a strong resemblance to Elvis and with his quiff type pompadour last night he was a dead ringer for the late star.

The more I watch Adam perform, the more sure I am that he has to at least reach the finals of this series. In fact maybe our AI blogger Gerard is right. Maybe this will end up being a Gokey vs Lambert series to the end!
