Allison Iraheta is certainly one of the most talented 16 year olds I have ever seen and I felt so sorry for her last night after the judges commented on her American Idol performance.

The girl rocked out with No Doubt’s Don’t Speak, even playing the guitar herself but all Simon Cowell could talk about was her outfit.

Now I’m not saying I liked her get up, it was a little out there and her hair was a liitle like Pebbles from The Flintstons but this show isn’t America’s Next Top Model!

Allison donned a poofy red dress, black leggings, white heels and spiky magenta hair, leading Cowell to comment that it was “something out of The Addams Family”, before joking that “the night’s theme must be Halloween”.

Way to go Mr Waistband!
