American Idol: Allison Iraheta Sings Cry Baby
Allison Iraheta was made for rock week and who would believe that the little diva is only 17 years old? She belted out the Janis Joplin classic ‘Cry Baby’ as if she had the life experience of a 40 year old and her vocals were truly amazing.
Randy didn’t love the song choice, Kara would have preferred Break Another Little Piece Of My Heart, I think they’re deaf. I was loving Allison’s performance tonight.

Love Simon’s no bull comments on AI contestants. There were some rare occassions where I didn’t agree with him, but, always 100% respect this sometimes utterly cruel guy. But, it is beyond my comprehension this session how he picked on Allison unless she gave it a 200%. It’s true no one appreciated her fashion sense until the last few shows; but, she shouldn’t be attacked for it so frequently as Simon always claimed that it is not only finding an idol, but a talented singer. How is a 16-17 rock loving girl, whose idol is Slash, being able to dress age appropriate, style appropriate? Why was Simon so particularly harsh on her most times? Forget about her being a 16-17 year-old-year, she has such matured and controlled voice, and she definitely has 1 of the best vocals in all the AI sessions. Watching Simon judged for years. He can’t be so wrong about someone. Was there really an agenda, and Allison was a victim?
A complete travesty she went out. Those other boys don”t deserve to be in the same room as this talented girl.
