Singing superstar Sir Elton John will perform on this week’s Idol Gives Back show, on behalf of the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Teen sensation Justin Bieber, former winner Carrie Underwood, as well as Alicia Keys, the Black Eyed Peas, Annie Lennox and Jeff Beck will also appear in order to raise money for the following charities: Children’s Health Fund, Feeding America, Malaria No More, Save the Children and the United Nations Foundation.

Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has joined Idol Gives Back as a not-for-profit partner on the charity special. A huge fundraiser, ‘Idol Gives Back’ has to date raised more than $140 million for charities around the world.
