American Idol: How HOT does Adam Lambert look in his shoot for Fault magazine? (PICTURES)
Adam Lambert has posed for a photoshoot for Fault magazine and we have to say, the singer is getting hotter with age!
The American Idol star has hit the headlines already in 2012, when it was recently revealed that he will be joining Queen once more, to headline the U.K.’s Sonisphere Festival on July 7, 2012.
The performance will have a particular significance to fans of the British group, as it will be staged in Knebworth Park, the site of Freddie Mercury’s final performance with the band in August, 1986.
Looking suave in a fitted grey jacket, a charcoal shirt and grey bow tie, Lambert discussed his changing fashion sense, admitting that he is moving away from his previously outlandish and extremely camp style and favouring more ‘contemporary’ clothes currently.
He told Fault:
“The last album and tour was spent really trying to be as ridiculous and camp as possible. An homage to the glam rock costuming of the ’70s and ’80s.
“I enjoyed the irony of it. Now I feel like embracing contemporary menswear. I take note of collections and editorials and try and incorporate them into my wardrobe whenever possible.”
Adam is currently working on his second studio album Trespassing, which was preceded by lead single “Better Than I Know Myself”.
Speaking about the upcoming record, the glamorous singer teased the theme of the album, admitting that fans will get a glimpse of who he is as a person, through the tracks he has chosen to record.
“There are songs on the album that embrace my rock n roll spirit and my love of club culture. Yet, underneath it all I’m not always as strong and confident as I may seem. I work hard to project pride and poise when faced with judgement and heartache. That is how I cope. I feel a bit of pressure to set a certain example that suggests that I deserve my place in this industry.”
He admitted that no one is more critical of him than he is of himself and added:
“I’m hard on myself and critical. There are songs on Trespassing that deal with that anxiety. Until I met my current boyfriend, I was always falling for the wrong guys which caused my self-worth to suffer. This is just some of what the album explores.”
Lambert previously revealed that some of the songs would be very risque in nature and may surprise some of his fans, as they mention ‘cruising for sex’ and insanity.
