American Idol finalist Jorge Nunez has moved Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony to tears.

Jorge was appearing on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show yesterday when Ryan revealed that he had received a text from Anthony.

The message read: “Hey bro, just finished watching the show. This guy is really special. Please tell Jorge that Jen and I could not be prouder. We were in tears witnessing, honestly. Pure talent.”

Speaking to E! News, Nunez said: “That [was] so awesome. I mean… if they’re famous here you really can’t imagine how famous they are in Puerto Rico. They’re like the biggest people ever. I love them. I’m so happy.”
