After Harry Connick, Jr gave his incredible solo performance of ‘And I Love Her’ on last night’s American Idol, he accompanied the top 5 contestants in their medley of his hit songs.

They crooned tunes including We Are in Love, Hear Me In The Harmony and Come By Me. Crystal’s voice shone throughout, especially as it was the only female vocal left and Casey was 100 times better than he was during his own Sinatra themed performance. We particularly loved Michal Lynche’s smooth tones during Hear Me In The Harmony and all in all, this had to have been one of the best group performances this season. It helped that, for once, the hopefuls sang live!

Afterward, Connick told a great story about the first time he met Frank Sinatra and how he snogged his wife to be!
