Carrie Underwood has revealed that she will be signing on next week American Idol.

Underwood will sing her track ‘I Told You So’ with Randy Travis during Grand Ole Opry (Country) week.

“I am so excited that two of my musical passions, American Idol, and the Grand Ole Opry, are joining together to create a really special week of music,” Carrie told Access Hollywood.

“I am always thrilled to return to the Idol stage, and am so proud to be bringing with me one of my heroes, Randy Travis.

Travis, originally recorded the track ‘I Told You So’ in 1988. She will appear on this weeks show as a mentor for the contestants, while Underwood will release a digitally-remastered version of the single.
