I read that Kelly Clarkson is refusing to allow contestants in the new American Idol series to sing her songs.
Simon Cowell rightly took her to task (via the media, of course), stating that she wouldn’t be famous if it weren’t for the show. Obviously.
Now, Clarkson is one of those performers who has gained real credibility post-American Idol. I see her videos on TV these days and wouldn’t class her as a graduate from a reality series. However, I can’t believe that she even thought about denying other wannabes the right to use her tunes.
Anyway, following that public dressing down from Cowell, Kelly has changed her mind and agreed to contestants singing her tunes on American Idol. Phew! A storm in a teacup, or is Miss Clarkson having trouble keeping it real?

I cannot believe that Kelly Clarkson would be so stupid as to not let knew American Idol contestants sing her songs. All too often fame appears to go to peoples heads and they start to think they are way better than the rest of us.
Lets look at a few - Beyonce - Not in the same league as Whitney or Mariah Vocally, just managed well. She really rates herself and why beautiful face Roseanne Barrs arse and legs.
Mariah - Fabulous singer, has lost the old spark she had when first on the scene. She was gracious, articulate and normal. Now she comes across as being better than the rest, again needs to remember where she came from and how others struggle to attain what she has. She obviously has money as she can now feed herself and my god has she, Mrs Mariah Tellytubby.
So on to Kelly Clarkson, fab singer, nice girl ? but then is she Gay and perhaps thats where the reluctance comes from.

I love how she started out being a devout Christian and dropped G.O.D. like a hot rock when the cheques started rolling in.
Didn’t realise Kelly Clarkson was a lesbian, BTW. I’ve not been paying too much attention to her….
I think we have to reconsider about Kelly… She’a not that mean as what you think she is… only Simon really knows how to exaggerate things!!!!

is this because leona lewis, who won x factor in the uk, recorded her song, and sang it better. listen to the song and you’ll see……
All these pop artists listed above are below average. Exception to this being Whitney Houston.
Britain and America seem to be very fond of people who are average or below average the really gifted are still out in the real world, some trying to get on others working in music related areas and some who just give up.
