Danny Gokey Or Alexis Grace To Win American Idol 2009?
Sources are suggesting what many already suspected and rumours are rife that American Idol bosses have already chosen their final four contestants.
Considering there are still 11 singers left on the show, that’s not good news for those people that aren’t Danny Gokey, Lil Rounds, Adam Lambert and Alexis Grace.
The New York Daily News reports that an AI insider said not only have the judges already picked their final four, but added that they want either Danny Gokey or Alexis Grace to scoop the title, saying that they are the most marketable.
“Adam Lambert and Lil Rounds are better singers and musicians than Gokey and Grace, but they’re too much like past winners and ‘A’ successes,” the source said. “Adam’s too close in style and sound to Chris Daughtry, while Lil Rounds is a dead ringer for Fantasia. Even their background stories are similar!
“The producers really want it to be Danny or Alexis. They think they’re very commercially viable, have a good image and a great story.”

Well, apparently it isn’t Alexis Grace. Whether or not she deserved to win is debatable, but for her to be voted off before Anoop, Scott or the oil guy is patently ridiculous. There are too many tween girls voting rabidly for their cute favorite each year. It completely skews the results and raw talent is lost every season. It’s a waste.

So how wrong are you willing to admit you are now the we clearly see that Alexis is gone like a fart in a dust storm? Do you have the honesty to say that the rumours are just that – rumours! Or do you try another angle to justify the slander of the integrity of the contest?
Come on! Who on earth took this article seriously in the first place? Any article that describes Danny Gokey as marketable has to be made up. The words “Danny Gokey” and “marketable” in the same sentence are hilarious.
