Glee star Harry Shum, Jr has admitted that he is backing Crystal Bowersox on this season of American Idol.

The actor revealed that he hasn’t seen much of the series due to his hectic work schedule, however when he attended a recent taping of the show, Joplin like Bowersox really stood out.

Harry told Zap2it:

“I liked her. When I went and watched a taping, I really liked her vibe and I loved that she plays the guitar. She’s kind of like a real artist, you know? So I loved her.”
