Although they didn’t mention it on tonight’s show, cancer survivor Justin Williams actually got through to last year’s American Idol Hollywood stage. He was sent home as his voice was thought to be too classical, but after a year of working on his style, Justin returned to Boston to wow the judges.

Williams, who survived cancer after being diagnosed with the illness during a mission in Spain seven years ago, gave a fantastic rendition of ‘Feeling Good’ and earned himself another Hollywood pass. Here’s hoping he makes it a bit further this year!
