Katy Perry has admitted that she would give up her music career to becoem a full time judge on American Idol.

The ‘Waking up in Vegas’ singer appeared as a guest judge on the current series of the talent show and admitted that it was a role she enjoyed.

“The American Idol experience was awesome.” Perry explained to MTV. “If I was offered that job as a permanent host, I would ditch my career and take on that career.

“American Idol was great fun. It was so easy. I didn’t really make anybody cry, but I did tell the truth to some kids that might have needed to hear it.”
