Paula Abdul Leaves American Idol – How Brilliant Is That?

Hip Hip Hurray! Paula Abdul has left American idol.
The former ‘Straight up’ singer made her announcement on Twitter, tweeting: “With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return.”
“I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent but, most of all, being a part of a show that I helped from day one become an international phenomenon,” said Abdul.
“What I want to say most is how much I appreciate the undying support and enormous love that you have showered upon me,” she added.
TV network Fox said it was “saddened” that Abdul was leaving, saying she had been “an important part of the American Idol family over the last eight seasons”.
“While Paula will not be continuing with us, she’s a tremendous talent and we wish her the best.”
To say I am delighted about this news would be an understatement. No more do we have to listen to Paula’s incoherent ramblings, her ramblings and babblings that make no more sense to the public than they do to the competitors. Now we have three properly experience and lucid judges. I imagine that’ll make a big difference to the show.
